Director's Message for January 2011

Saturday, January 1, 2011

Greetings for the New Year,

I trust that you and your loved ones had a rewarding holiday season. Now that 2010 is officially behind us and we are commencing 2011, I wonder whether you feel a sense of renewal and are looking forward to the coming year with positive anticipation or dread. I know that there have been those of you who were relieved to say goodbye to a former year only to realize that the following year was even more challenging than the one that preceded it.

My experience informs me that the past few years have been quite challenging, especially for those that have needed to shape-shift their lives and reorient themselves to a way of being that is more consistent with the global/societal changes that are upon us. We are in the advent of a spiritual Renaissance that is impelling us to rise up to put ourselves in right order to match the intensity of the energies that are abounding. If we do so, then our ride will be smoother and less bumpy. Those that are attached to archaic lifestyles will probably find themselves hard-pressed to surrender to the twists and turns ahead.

"DO NOT WAIT; THE TIME WILL NEVER BE 'JUST RIGHT.' START WHERE YOU STAND, AND WORK WITH WHATEVER TOOLS YOU MAY HAVE AT YOUR COMMAND, AND BETTER TOOLS WILL BE FOUND AS YOU GO ALONG." ~ NAPOLEON HILL 1883-1970

I invite you to kick off the New Year on the right foot and join your brothers for a day to explore the topic of spiritual purification and to experience the conscious connected breathing process of Rebirthing. On Saturday, February 5th, I will facilitate a Day for Men at Holy Spirit Retreat Center. In June on the 3rd and 4th, we will host two events with Leonard Orr, considered the father of the Rebirthing, Spiritual Purification and Physical Immortality movement. We are including in this newsletter some information concerning my history with the Rebirthing process and an article by Leonard on what he considers to be the significant traumatic events that most people will have met along the journey of their lifetimes and how to clear them through spiritual practices. Please download the flyer for the February 5th event and register right away.

We have also been in meetings to discuss the upcoming Sacred Path and Call to Adventure Retreat, April 7-10. There are some exciting possibilities heating up for the spring retreat that we’ll tell you more about as they come together. You can expect to see the information and flyer for the retreat in the February newsletter. Mark your calendars if you haven’t already done so.

To our Sacred Path Community, here’s to a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year for you, your family and friends.

Cheers,
Stephen
